I decided to scan and post a class roster (minus one) of the "Precocious" cast I scribbled in my sketchbook. At this stage, even this little bit of consistency in drawing pleases me.

The site is getting meatier!

The "On Beauty" series has moved from the In Progress tab to the Painting tab - even though, technically, the paintings are still in progress. Considering there's maybe an hour's worth of work on each piece to go, I'll be forgiven. When the paintings are finished, I will update the images on their pages.

The In Progress tab has been updated. "Codependencies" has been removed because - this is embarassing - I've lost the sample pages. It wasn't very far into development so it's not a huge loss, but it's still kind of sad. Replacing that series is the "House and Home" series, which DOES have a gallery set up for it! So far the basic prints are up for viewing. More images will be added as the prints are worked upon so viewers can see the process. "Precocious" now has a splash page as well. I have a LOT written about this, but that will wait until I have more character drawings to show.

Wow, it's been a while. The general artist's statement has been cleaned up and my bio and resume had been updated to reflect my graduation (!!!) and other recent happenings.

The "On Beauty" series has been completed - save for some minor tweakings I still need to do - and the page has been updated. It will remain "in progress" until those tweaks are done.

I am now turning my attention to the other "in progress" bodies of work section. "Precocious" will soon have a page for it. "Codependencies" is still a few weeks away from having some samples to display. The "other artwork" section remains neglected for now.

The "On Beauty" statement has been added. I'm still ignoring the process aspects of the project. You can say it's laziness; I'll say it's because I'm focusing on finishing the series.

The paintings page is *actually* up now - at least its first stage is. Eventually it will be more process-oriented, with photos of each stage of the paintings. As of now, the only in-progress painting on display is Cheerleader 3. More will come!

The main artist's statement has been re-written. It's just a first draft, so any feedback on it will be welcomed. It is surely riddled with typos. *sigh*

The artist's statements for "Contradictions" and "Sad Robots" are still in development. The "On Beauty" statement needs some editing to convert it into a real statement.

The first update is live! As you've surely noticed, things are rather bare bones right now. I've deactivated the links to yet-to-be-implemented pages rather than go with the 1998 classic "Under Construction" animation. If I waited until everything was perfect, this site would never be launched. Enjoy the meaty sections for now. The side dishes will be added over time.
